Wallace and Michelle advanced to the final while Alastair lost in the semifinal. The kids also played their doubles matches today. Both Wallace and Michelle advanced to the final without much problem and they will face against better opponents in their final round. Nonetheless, this tournament has been a great experience for everyone, especially good for Alistair who surprisingly made it all the way to the semifinal. Today his opponent was too good for him, he was just another level higher, but it was a great learning experience for Alistair.
Tomorrow will be our very last day of tournament. I will let the kids to rest a bit and most likely take them to Huntington Beach for relaxation as well as to celebrate Michelle’s 14th birthday.
Hopefully Michelle and Wallace will win their final round and some of our doubles pairs too. It would be a good birthday present for Michelle if she wins her final match.
